100% Money Back Guarantee Conditions
If you follow this system fully and do not reach your agreed goal, you will receive a full refund. No arguments, no hassle.
The conditions below exist for one reason, the guarantee only works if the system is followed. Twenty weeks of marathon preparation involves more than running. These conditions are not small print designed to protect me from paying out, but they are what makes the guarantee possible and ensures that you reach your goal. There will also be circumstances outside of both our control, and the conditions below account for that too.
For the guarantee to apply, the following conditions must be met:
Your goal must be agreed upon before the system begins, based on verified past race results or benchmarking sessions conducted at the start. Goals must be realistic and mutually agreed between the two of us.
Your training must be completed to at least 85% of all prescribed running sessions and total running volume, and at least 85% of all prescribed strength and conditioning sessions throughout the 18 weeks.
Sessions cannot be moved or adjusted without consulting me. This probably sounds strict, but every session has a desired outcome and when the sequence is changed, it can have a negative effect. We can be flexible, but we need to agree to the changes.
Your Health – If you are ill or injured on race day, that is the fault of neither us, just like adverse weather conditions you will be offered your next training block coached free of charge.
Your goal is considered met if:
- Your goal was to complete the marathon and you cross the finish line, or
- Your goal time was reached when you completed 42.2km (26.2 miles)
Adverse weather and race conditions: if race officials issue a heat advisory, modify the course, or publicly acknowledge exceptional race conditions, your coach reserves the right to widen the time tolerance or reclassify your goal as completion only, based on the official communications from race officials. Conditions that automatically trigger this clause are a recorded temperature at race start exceeding 25°C (77°F), or sustained wind speeds exceeding 30km/h (19mph) at any point during the race. Both are verified using publicly available weather records from the race location on race day.
In the case where adverse weather or race conditions prevent a goal finish, the client can choose to have their next marathon training block coached by me free of charge.
